A nature walk called “Nature and Human in the Context of Economics” was held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, with the participation of the academicians and students of the Accounting and Tax Department and Finance, Banking and Insurance Department of Muş Alparslan University, Social Sciences Vocational School.
The round trip from Soğucak (Mongok) Village affiliated to Muş Center to Haspet Castle was approximately 5 km and was walked in 1.5 hours. At the end of the journey, participants were informed about the history of Haspet Castle; in addition, the main theme of our event, the relationship between nature and humans in the context of economics, was discussed. In this context, the reflections of the basic concepts of the economic discipline such as savings, productivity, specialization, division of labor, labor-value in nature were pointed out to our students.
At the end of our nature walk, the garbage in and around Haspet Castle was collected with environmental awareness, and our activity with the students was completed with an ecological experience.
